Patience & Perfectionism
I think I'm a perfectionist. I like things being the way they should be. Words should be spelt correctly. All sentences should be double-spaced. Words should be chosen carefully, and for the most part, chosen for succinctness.
But I am also undeniably impatient. I demand instant perfection, and due to a combination of impatience and lack of skill, I am often frustrated.
Fortunately, over the years, I have come to the realisation that in order to resolve this great tension, I required a certain level of apathy. And in recent years, I have certainly acheived that.
While the occasional lapse does take place, I have found that my apathy has perfectly satiated my impatience.
